Drita Desku

Energy Specialist

Drita Desku is a newly appointed Energy Specialist at MFK. With more than 13 years of experience, Drita previously contributed to the energy sector while covering thermal energy and gas in Kosovo’s Energy Regulatory Office (ERO). Additionally, she was assigned as a national delegate for issues on gas and district heating regulatory framework in multilateral mechanisms.

Drita was a DAAD Scholarship recipient and finished her studies in the German Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sofia. She also holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, she is a member of KUSA and AWESK (Women in Energy Association) – a rich experience which has helped broaden her horizons on issues related to energy in Kosovo and the broader region.

She is part of the Trail Running Association and enjoys challenging herself on long distance runs.
