WiSci Kosovo Camp is launching soon

The first-ever WiSci Camp for girls is launching soon. WiSci Kosovo Camp is a summer camp aiming to promote education among girls in the fields such as technology, science, engineering, mathematics engineering and art & design.

 

On Sunday the 18th of August, Camp WiSci will see 100 girls take part in a 10-day camp in order be taught to develop phone apps and learn about renewable energy, coding, microbiology and animation, all the while striking up friendships with each other. Girls from Kosovo will be joined by girls from the US, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Serbia.

 

In order to bring this exciting global event to Kosovo, the MFK has teamed up with a hugely impressive range of names, such as NASA, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Bechtel, Girl Up as well as TOKA NGO, the University of Prishtina and AAB University. Other long term partners include US Embassy in Prishtina, the US embassies in Tirana, Skopje and Podgorica as well as the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
