20 New Internship Positions Available for Women in Energy

Millennium Foundation Kosovo (MFK) has launched the second cohort of paid internship positions for women in the energy sector. 20 more internships are now available all across Kosovo and are calling for women who are students of different fields of study, or who have graduated in the last three years but are still unemployed.

This is the second wave of internship opportunities through MFK’s Women in Energy Internship Program, this time available in 11 municipalities like: Mitrovica, Decan, Lipjan, Gjakova, Skenderaj etc. Some of the announced internship positions are: Project Coordinator, Researcher, IT, Project Assistant, Energy Efficiency Officer etc.

Visit Women in Energy Internship Program Website, for more details on open positions.

Despite the situation created due to the pandemic, several women have already started working from distance, an opportunity made possible through the first cohort of Internships launched earlier this year. Hundreds more will benefit from this program funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation. WE Program aims to increase women’s awareness of opportunities in the energy sector, provide scholarships, internships, and trainings in order to increase the pool of technically skilled women willing to work in energy-related jobs, and build linkages between energy employers and qualified female candidates.

MFK remains committed to initiating sustainable economic opportunities for women which contribute to the improvement of their status in the Kosovo labor market.
