MCC signs Compact Development Fund amendment with the Government of Kosovo
A high-level delegation headed by the managing director of MCC for Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and Latin America Caroline T. Nguyen, had a visit to Kosovo to sign the amendment of the Compact Development Fund – CDF agreement with outgoing PM Haradinaj.
On this occasion, outgoing Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, together with the MCC delegation, signed the amendment of the CDF (Compact Development Fund) Agreement, which will support the feasibility studies for the project activities submitted by the Government of Kosovo to MCC in July.
Mrs. Nguyen visited the MFK Office and the local team here in Prishtina, as well as had extensive meetings with government representatives.
Through MFK, MCC is already implementing the Threshold Program valued $49million with projects focusing on Energy Efficiency and Good Governance. While US and Kosovar teams are working hard to develop a substantive Compact Agreement – potentially unlocking millions of dollars in new investments in energy infrastructure.
