Outreach and Communication Specialist

Rina Meta leads our Outreach and Communication efforts, assisting the MFK team with public outreach and communications across all spectrums. She excels in managing and executing campaigns, publishing books, curating events, and leading projects that emphasize cultural, social, and environmental themes.

Previously, Rina served as the Communication Specialist for the Millennium Challenge Office for Kosovo at the Government of Kosovo, where she managed both online and print editorial projects and maintained a strong digital media presence across various platforms.

In 2015, Rina was appointed by the British Council as an adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo. In this role, she provided strategic advice and guidance in designing and implementing Cultural Diplomacy strategies and projects. She successfully led engagement projects and national campaigns, including the prominent #KosovoInUnesco campaign and the #InstaKosovo national photography competition, which saw participation from over 40,000 Kosovars.

As an experienced editor and publisher with a passion for cultural storytelling, Rina has extensive knowledge of global cultural trends spanning art, music, cinema, and literature. She has crafted impactful narratives for institutions such as Dokufest and, more recently, Manifesta Biennale.

Rina holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and a degree in Product Design from Accademia Italiana, with studies completed in Bangkok and Skopje.
