MFK launches WEE Program to empower Women Entrepreneurs
Millennium Foundation Kosovo (MFK) launches another program aiming to empower women and help them achieve their full potential, Women Energy Entrepreneurs-Business Acceleration Support Program. This program aims to help women entrepreneurs through a combination of technical assistance and investment grants in energy efficiency measures and modern equipment that will help them grow their business and use energy efficiently.
All women entrepreneurs with more than 5 employees, who want to grow their businesses through efficient use of energy, are encouraged to apply for one out of three different components designed to address different needs of women businesses: Smart, Advanced or Simple.
The Call for Application for the Business Acceleration Support Program is now open until October 27. Throughout this program, women entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to:
- receive business coaching and mentoring from Kosovar and American experts
- learn how energy efficiency improvements can improve the profitability and growth potential of their business
- receive support on optimizing the equipment and energy efficiency measures investment plan for a more efficient use of energy and accelerated business growth
- receive support to apply for a financial grant between €10,000 and €135,000 for eligible women-owned companies

Women Energy Entrepreneurs is part of the Women in Energy Program, implemented by MFK, supported by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), which aims to create opportunities for women to participate in the energy sector through scholarships, vocational education, employment and entrepreneurship.
