#WiSciKosovo – A Great Summer Camp for Girls!
Millennium Foundation Kosovo has partnered U.S. Department of State, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Girl Up, Intel Corporation to deliver #WISCIKOSOVO – the first international summer camp for girls focused on science, technology, arts, engineering and mathematics.
We are seeking to build a new generation of girls leaders in an engaging and immersive environment with top tutors from around the world.
This WiSci Camp aims to help bridge that gap through access to education, mentorship opportunities and leadership training. The WiSci Girls STEAM Camp will be held in Prishtina, Kosovo from August 18-31, 2019 for girls from the United States, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia. The camp will be hosted at the University of Pristina, where the participants will sleep in supervised dormitories and participate in daily STEAM activities in the classrooms of Universiteti AAB, as well as specifically designated off-site excursions.
All costs associated with lodging, food, and activities during the camp are covered through the support of WiSci partners, in addition to transportation to/from Prishtina to your town or village.
